    CENTRAL LIBRARY
       The library has more than 7000 volumes of books and 60 journals. It has open access system. Its functions are computerized. It also has a vast collection of CD's. Plans are on to house the library in a more spacious Library Block.We made one hour as compulsory library hour for a class in a week,which helps to understand the necessity and utility of the library.

    Working hours:7:30a.m To 5:30 p.m in all working days.

    DEPARTMENT LIBRARY
       Each department has separate department library in addition to the central library.Students can get all the textbooks,which they can retain for the whole semester.The management makes sure that the students of our college need not buy any books for their entire course of study,i.e. as they are provided with maximum number of books from central and department libraries.
    COMPUTERS, NETWORKING AND INTERNET FACILITIES
       Nearly 200 state of art computers (All Pentium IV) are installed in the fully furnished computer laboratory. All the software packages are available for use. Our college has dedicated leased line of 128Kbps,connected to more than fifty terminals throughout the campus. Students and faculty are free to access Internet after the working hours.This helps the students to prepare papers on latest technologies to be presented in various symposiums and seminars. Those who are interested to go abroad for further studies and take up tests such as GRE and TOEFL, take up online mock up test and also browse through websites of various universities and centers of higher education around the world.The access speed enables the students and staff to download and upload files at a faster rate.
    FACULTY
       A good teacher is worth a million of books. Our Principal Dr.J.Abbas Mohaideen, M.Tech, Ph.D. former Professor and Head of Chemical Engineering department in SATHYABAMA DEEMED UNIVERSITY has valuable experience in teaching and research.He guided six Ph.D. research fellows.He published six international papers and fourteen national papers and also published two books in environmental engineering.

    Well experienced team of highly qualified and sincere teachers under the able guidance of the Principal, inspire and guide the students to be successful both in examinations and life.They motivate the student and help them to come out in their problems.The faculties are committed and pioneer in their area of specialization.They organize remedial classes for the weaker student so that they can come out with flying colors in their examinations. The staff counselors get into the problem of the students and encourage them at all times.

    PHYSICAL EDUCATION
    A sound mind demands a sound body. Facilities are provided for playing indoor and outdoor games. We have a well maintained sophisticated gymnasium with Multi station Gym. The college has cricket, Football, Hockey, Ball Badminton, Badminton and Volleyball courts. The NSO (National Sports Organization) is functioning and is very active under the guidance of the Physical Director.
    HOSTEL
       The college has a well furnished, separate Gents and Ladies Hostel. At present there are about 200 students both boys and girls staying in the college Hostel. Single, two and three bedroom accommodation is available for the students.

Deepavali, Saraswathi Pooja, Christmas, Pongal and Sankaranthi will be celebrated grandly.
  •  Non-vegetarian food will be served for 5 lunches and 3 dinners in a week

    MESS
    Food is cooked hygenically. Facility to cook rice with steam is available which reduces the cooking time and students can get steaming hot food.

    Separate seating arrangements are made for girls and boys as well as vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Sweets and ice creams are served for all the students.

    Breakfast and tea are served in front of the class blocks. All the students and staff take breakfast before the starting of the classes. For the students who attend special classes in the evening after the regular classes,tea and snacks are served. All the visitors to the college, teaching and non-teaching staff take breakfast,lunch and evening snacks in the dining hall at free of cost.

    • TRANSPORT
       Our buses are plying through every nook and corner of chennai city and suburbs.Private vehicles and two wheelers are not allowed mainly to prevent accidents and latecomers to the college.All the teaching and Non-teaching staff can avail free transport facilities. All services and repairs of our buses are done in the workshop inside the campus. Attached to the workshop,bus body building facilities are also available.Diesel bunk inside the campus supplies diesel for all our buses.

    OTHER FACILITIES

    Medical facilities:
    Our college has MoU with Jaya Hospital at Sriperumpudur,24 hours emergency services provided for needy students.

    Road facilities:     A private concrete road connecting our college to Bangalore Highway is under construction.A bus is readily available at the college campus for emergency purpose.

    Generator:     Our college has a high capacity generator which enables our campus non stop power supply.The generator acts as an uninterrupted power supply resource for our sophisticated campus.

    Beauty Parlour:     A beauty parlour for gents with all facilities is available inside the campus itself at free of cost.
