STUDENT ASSOCATIONS AND CLUBS

The college provides avenues for developing technical skills, updating knowledge on the state of art subjects, personality developments and service to the society through the following associations. There are staff advisors to guide the students in the smooth and efficient conduct of their activities.

Conducting seminars and workshops, Special lecture programmes, educational and industrial visits, paper presentation contests and imparting practical skills are some of the activities.

GUEST LECTURES

The curriculum has to be updated at regular intervals according to the needs of the industry and the profession, particularly in the context of rapidly changing technologies.This goal can be achieved to a certain extent by guest lectures and extension lectures since curriculum updating can be done only by the university. Three guest lectures are to be held for each class every semester.Eminent personalities from different fields like academicians,leading industrialists,chief executive officers and managers are invited to share their experiences and views with our students.Our students also get oppurtunities to interact with the people in the industrial world and gain knowledge and sound exposure to face the world.

ADVISORY BUREAU FOR HIGHER STUDIES

The student with the dream to go for pursuing higher studies.The advisory Bureau for higher studies provides all the necessary information and coaching required for the students.This facility,which is available,at our college is unique for the benefit of our students.

OBJECTIVES OF THE BUREAU

• To enable students to prepare for competitive examinations like TOEFL, GRE,GMAT,GATE,IES,UPSC & SSC etc.
• To provide information on various courses and admission requirements for universities in India and Abroad.

TRAINING AND PLACEMENT CELL

Our college placement cell has join venture with Sathyabama Deemed University in all its activities.The management is happy to announce that every year all leading companies from IT and Manufacturing sector are regularly visiting the University for campus selection. It is really an amazing thing for a student to have his/her "Appoinment order" even before they finish their degree,it is happening here in Sathyabama Deemed University. One of our staff member is deputed for the placement cell,who continuously monitors the employment potentials and organizes the campus interview for our students even before they finish their seventh semester. All leading companies are invited to participate in our campus selection programme. We are giving all required facilities to the companies to conduct the campus selection in smooth and successful way. we do entertain the companies asking for the students those who have completed the degree and looking for job.

YOUTH RED CROSS SOCIETY

The Youth Red Cross Society is the most important constituent of its mother organization Indian Red Cross Society. The main objective of YRC movement is based on the principles of

• Protection of health and life.
• Service to the sick and suffering.
• Promotion of national and international friendship to develop the mental and moral capacity of the youth.
